'Stupid Edward! Bean-sized ant that can't be seen under a microscope! If he keeps breaking my automail, my wrench will be lodged into his brain!' The blonde automail otaku shrieked in her mind. As much as Winry cared for the Elric brothers, she was about to make Alphonse an only child, and the thought about the wrench wasn't far from the truth. Once she saw Edward, the mark on his head from the wrench would be there for weeks.
Winry sighed a little, staring down at the ground as she walked toward her favorite automail shoppe in Rush Valley. Her eyes glanced to her tool box in her left hand, raising her right hand to rub the back of her neck. The blonde smiled a little as the sun started to show from behind the clouds, beating down on her exposed skin. A light chime went off as Winry walked through the door of a shoppe, waving politely at the man standing behind the counter. "Miss Rockbell, here on business?" The man asked as Winry walked around, a sparkle in her eyes. "Yes. One of my friends has once again broken my peice of art." The man gave a light chuckle, stepping around from the counter, showing her some new pieces.
Almost an hour later, Winry walked out with several new ideas and many new things to experiment with when Edward came home for repairs. Winry glanced up towards a clock, giving a slight grunt when she realized it was close to noon. 'Pinako would be worried about me...' A sweet smell wafted from a near by bakery, interupting her thoughts. "However, she wouldn't want me to leave without having a bite..." She spoke.
A small chocolate danish and a cup of tea, Winry stared into her cup outside. Her legs crossed and the sun on her back. It was rare when she got time to really relax, when she wasn't worried about Edward and Alphonse. The girl started to space out slowly, her eyes dulling.
