Under Fuhrer Bradley Amestris has always been at war, he is proclaimed a gift to the state having won in Ishbal, only now, he needs another war to win, another country to destroy.
The country of Avalon is on the south western border of Amestris, not a veritably large country by any stretch of the imagination, but powerful under the rule of a tyrant. They are militantly run, much like Amestris, and while some people despise the tyrannical rule of their current emperor the country has become rich beneath him and is vying for a top spot in the world, running a very close second to their unfriendly neighbor, Amestris.
As of late, there had begun border trouble as Avalon attempted to creep over the line into Amestris, making for hurt feelings and anger. Avalon is looking for a war, and Bradley is not one to turn down the challenge. There has yet to be a proper declaration of war but as each leader gets a little more power hungry each border skirmish seems to become more intense. The tension between both governments is attempted to be kept quiet but as, little by little, information leeks out there are war mongers hungry for another fight, still riding the ‘victory’ of Ishbal. Is Roy Mustang’s small group of military followers and the pair of extremely talented Elrics enough to keep Fuhrer Bradley and the Homunculi from turning Avalon into just another Ishbal? Or will a border skirmish simply become another step in Dante’s quest for the Philosopher’s stone? |
