She stands at 4'9", and has a slim figure but long legs. She may be short but she takes much pride in it, and is often thanking many people for making fun of her petite height. She usually wears a uniform she made to look similar to the military's, to mess with them and show them how ready she is to be a soldier. Her weapon is a black blade with silver edge, and is always placed in a sheathe on her back. Overall she's a beautiful girl, but doesn't try to flaunt it.

She is very happy-go-lucky, but when angered is quite the vicious girl, turning into someone very frightening. But it usually takes a lot for her to be truly angered, and she is often kind to others despite having trust issues. Even so, she will have her moments where she is very unhappy with taking orders, and has a major dislike for water and dogs. -Full History: Amaya never knew her parents, all she knew that one day she was just left for dead. The next thing she knew, she was brought in somewhere and sent into a prison, and she often heard the noises of screaming people or frightening growls or snarls from random cages. It was always dark in there, so she could never make out faces and was never spoken to.
This lasted for about a week, and soon she was brought to a room where they knocked her unconscious, and began to experiment on her. What she didn't know was that scientists had been watching her for quite awhile, and had studied her to see if she would be the right candidate for an experiment. They had been looking at other children was well, but she seemed to be the most able to handle it. They had forced her parents away and snatched her away to being their work.
Lately they had been figuring how they were to make a chimera that had human and animal-like features, without harming the human part at all, and still letting them have the ability to talk. (Even though years later on a man by the name Shou Tucker would do they same thing, there would be no record of these experiments.) Once she was unconscious, they grabbed a live cat from one of the cages, put it under, then got to work.
A few hours later, Amaya awoke and was very dizzy, sore, and couldn't seem to speak. She had many people looking down at her, studying her and prodding her while cords were stuck to her. She was in a daze and she grabbed her head to find ears. This shocked her, but when she tried to scream no words came out, as she had become mute. The scientists took note of this, then put her in another cage for further study.
She was in there for a few days, and during that time her voice began to soon come back, and her senses had suddenly increased. She had no idea what exactly happened, but she was terrified and knew she had to get out of there. So, as she recovered, she thought of ways she could escape from there, but to no luck she could think of nothing. She was beginning to lose hope, until one day, a sudden emergency occurred when one of the bad experiments had broken loose, and all scientists were to evacuate.
While this happened she had managed to snatch a set of keys from one of the scientists as they went running, and unlocked her prison and set herself free. Without another thought she began running, ignoring the screams of those who wanted and needed her help, and left the terrible building in haste. She ran blindly for awhile until she found an abandoned building, and she lived there for a few days.
As she tried to recollect what had happened to her, she had managed to cross a man who was out in the market shopping. He was a little older, and seemed to be buying produce for himself and maybe one other person. He took one look at her odd clothing, and became interested. He asked many questions, offered her food and soon figured out what had happened causing him to take pity on her.
He was also mildly scared, but at the same time he couldn't resist turning her away just because of her odd ears and tail. She seemed to have lost her way on the path of life itself, and so he brought her to his house, took care of her, and offered her a job in his flower shop. Fortunately for her, he was also a martial arts expert, and taught her how to fend for herself if she were to end up not living with him anymore. She learned quite a lot and instantly bonded with the man and his wife, and they had come to adopt her as their daughter.
As the months passed, Amaya became fond of the Military, and was soon motivated to become a soldier once she came to the right age. She was often training on her Marital Arts to learn how to protect herself, even though she wanted to learn how to use a weapon. She never did learn, for the man and his wife didn't permit it, and she respected their wishes so dearly she vowed not to ever use a weapon when she was under their rule.
The years began to pass, and she was earning a lot of money and beginning to make friends, but another thing she noticed was she wasn't looking like she was aging like all her friends did. This really struck a chord when she hit eighteen, and she still looked as though she were the same fourteen-year-old girl four years ago. She sort of brushed it off, but as soon as she hit twenty, then twenty five, she began to worry.
She had to figure out the hard way, that she would never look like she was aging ever again, and was soon left behind while all her friends went on with her lives and no longer hung out with her because she looked so young.
Because of this, she left Central for seveteen years to hide suspicion, before returning to Central again. No one asked, but once they claimed she looked familiar, she explained her mother had lived here when she was young, and she was here to make a living of her own.
By the time she was forty, she had come to accept her aging problem, and continued to work hard and use the money she earned to keep up with her living.
After a few years, she left again for fifteen years, then returned once again, claiming to be her own grandchild.
-Roleplay Sample: The front door of a simple house slammed shut, and a cheery voice called to a woman standing in the window,"I'll see you later mother!" Turquoise eyes gleamed happily, and with a toothy smile she jumped from the steps and down the sidewalk towards Central Headquarters that was only about three blocks away.
She was going to do what she always did, head off to the HQ and try to become an alchemist. It had been her dream for most of her life, and now was her chance to become one, even though she wasn't of the coming age. Though this was true, she still was persistent, and she aimed to become an alchemist before reaching fifteen. She had heard of another famous alchemist that was only fifteen, and so she was angered that they didn't even give her a chance.
Maybe because she was a woman, or just because they didn't want other kids thinking they could pull off the same thing. As she gracefully walked on the tips of her toes, she was keen on dodging any puddles from the recent rainfall, and growled low at any dog that approached her. It was ironic that her name was Amaya, which means "Night Rain". Even so, she doesn't really mind, and she nodded to those her acknowledged her by one of her nicknames.
Today was going to be a good day, she could feel it in her gut, and her gut feelings were always correct.
-Anything Else you think we should know?: There I edited it, I apologize that it's all choppy and stuff and I hope that it's a alot more realistic.[/font]
